On-device recognition is used first. Nothing goes through Toolvemi servers.
Online mode: your audio is sent to your browser’s speech provider (for example Google in Chrome) to be transcribed. Toolvemi does not receive it.
How to use it
- Choose your language and press Start listening.
- Allow microphone access when your browser asks, then speak.
- Stop and copy. You can edit the text in the box.
Support depends on your browser. Recognition runs on your device when the browser supports it. If it does not, you must tick the box to use the online service, which sends your audio to the browser’s provider. Spoken punctuation commands such as “comma” are not supported by every browser.
